Welcome, Waffles!

Last weekend, my husband and I adopted an 8-week-old kitten. We had a whole bunch of names lined up in the event that a boy kitten would capture our hearts. It was, however, a little girl kitten who warmed up to us most readily. Because of this, we spend a couple of days in her company before arriving at the perfect name: Waffles.

For months, I had been incredibly indecisive on the subject of bringing a kitten into our home.

Being in the company of Waffles has so far proven to be a real treat... Even if she does jump all over us and attack our hands at night.
